HRD Programs in Japan Conducted Directly by JCCP

Programs in Japan conducted directly by JCCP include two types of courses -- regular courses and customized courses. Thirty such courses are offered yearly, in various fields, intended mainly for engineers and middle-level managers in the oil/gas downstream sector.

The Regular Course Programs consist of subjects common across countries, such as "Strategic Management", "Refining Processes", "Refinery Maintenance", "Instrumentation and Control", "Safety and Environment", "Petroleum Marketing and Distribution" and "Human Resources Management", while offering participants interactive learning opportunities. More than 20 such regular courses are offered every year, and provide participants an opportunity to deepen their understanding of subjects related to the oil industry while building their networking in the field.

In Customized Course Programs in Japan, human resource development programs are designed to reflect specific needs and requests from oil & gas producing countries. Each year, in accordance with the needs of designated oil & gas producing countries, JCCP designs and implements in-depth and comprehensive seminars, such as management, women leadership, environment and safety management in the Program Formulation Course in Japan(former JCCP Program Seminars).
