To encourage participants to grow capability in finding and in solving issues on environment management throughout studying historical background and facts of Japan’s pollution, efforts to solve these issues, and the most recent technologies for making countermeasure for nature conservation.

3.	[Lectures (substitutes of previous Observation tours)]
        By Environment-related company:
       -	Wastewater treatment; and
       -	Manufacturer of analyzer.
       -	Oil Refining Company
4.	[Lecture] Countermeasure for land & underground water pollution
5.	[Lecture] Air pollution monitoring & simulation
6.	[Lecture & Workshop] Countermeasure for air pollution
7.	[Group discussion & wrap-up in person]

Engineers specializing in safety management, operation or maintenance at a refinery, with at least three years’ experience and a university degree or equivalent qualification.
