Outline of JCCP Regular Course TR-1-22

Intended for younger engineers with a few years of experience, this course
mainly provides the fundamentals of the instrumentation and control
sector, and a discussion on cutting-edge applications.

1. Lecture and Practice
・	Overview of the Japanese petroleum industry
・	Refinery: Application of advanced control system, operation support system and information system
・	Basic control theory (feedback control, PID control)
・	Basic process control practice using DCS simulator connected to miniature plant (PID parameter tuning)
・	Instrumentation manufacturer: Latest instrumentation and control system

2. Visits to (Online):
・	Sensing device manufacturer: Technology of level gauge, oscillometer, flowmeter

DCS-related work, process control, plant operation or information system,
or those with equivalent qualifications
