Objective
In this course, participants will share information about and discuss future actions to accomplish carbon neutrality as oil- and gas-producing countries and obtain some clues for making strategies and proceeding with a plan to achieve each country’s goal.
This course introduces some activities of the Japanese government and companies toward a carbon-neutral society.

1. Lecture:
- Carbon neutrality and energy security policy in Japan
- Standardization of hydrogen, e-fuel
- Material flow cost accounting
- World trends in carbon credits

2. Workshop:
- Group discussion (carbon neutrality in the oil and gas industry)

3. Site Visit:
- University, public research institute
- CCS demonstration site
- E&P company of oil and natural gas
- Oil company
- Heavy industry manufacturing company
- Thermal power station
- Automobile company / Engineering company
- Gas company / Construction company
- Industrial gas & chemical company
- Hydrogen and fuel cell R&D zone

Qualification
Managers or leaders in charge of planning and carbon-neutral strategy department, or those with equivalent qualifications.
