Objective
To provide knowledge of material deterioration, corrosion problems, material selection and reliable welding technologies for static equipment
Main Topics
Participants will acquire knowledge of material problems and reliable welding technologies for refinery facilities (static equipment) from the viewpoint of Middle management level.
1.	Maintenance management technologies and strategy, life cycle engineering, etc.
2.	Material deterioration and corrosion, and material selection
3.	Reliability evaluation of pressure vessels
4.	Welding technologies and their reliability 
5.	Trouble cases and countermeasures of static equipment in the refinery
6.	Case study discussion and workshop
7.	Visits to:
・	A refinery
・	A pressure vessel fabricator
・	A welding technology center
・	A steel company
・	An engineering company, etc.
Qualification
Mechanical/maintenance engineers (excluding electricity, instrumentation and rotary machinery) having at least five years’ experience in static equipment maintenance with a university degree, or those with equivalent qualifications.
