Objective
For technology leaders to deepen their understanding of project management from the owner’s perspective and their company’s strategy through discussions among the training participants, including lecturers.

1. Lecture
 ・ Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK®) fundamentals
   (by preliminary e-learning, under PMAJ supervision)
 ・ The petroleum industry in Japan (by preliminary e-learning, JCCP)
 ・ Project management from the perspective of an oil/gas company
   a) Key points of each phase, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and project closing phases, and the startup operation after the project
    b) Strategy of technology, capital investment, an EPC contract, etc.
  ・ Project cost & risk management
 ・ Construction project simulation, gamification
 ・ Team building & stakeholder engagement

2. Workshop (Group Discussions)
 ・ Challenges of project management in each participant

3. Site Visit: 
 ・ Plant engineering company:
   a) Automation of maintenance, Safety practice education utilizing VR
 ・ Engineering companies:
   a) Project integration management through Advanced Work Packaging
 ・ Electrical engineering and software company:
     a) Optimal plant life cycle and efficiency of maintenance operations 
  ・ Steam valve producer
   a) Steam system optimization program & risk mitigation
 ・ Consulting Firm
   a) Application of AR technology to oil refinery maintenance site
Qualification
Middle-management level in engineering, technical, planning, and R&D departments or those with equal or higher-level qualification.
