For the technology leaders to understand project management from the owner’s point of view and to deepen their understanding of their company’s strategy through discussions among the training participants.

1. Lecture
・Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK®) fundamentals  
    (By preliminary e-learning, under Project Management Association Japan supervision)
・The petroleum industry in Japan (By preliminary e-learning, JCCP)
・Project management from the perspective of oil refinery company owners
   a)	Key points of each project phase, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, 
       and project closure phases,  and the startup operation after the project
   b)	Strategy of technology, capital investment and JV with other industries, etc.
・Project cost management

2. Workshop (Group Discussions)
・Challenges in project management and the solutions to them

3. Virtual visit to: 
・Refinery and chemical plants:
 The actual integration projects between petroleum business and petrochemical business in Japan
・Engineering companies:
 a)	Schedule management, HSE evaluation, and risk management in an EPC project
 b)	EPC project engineering by utilizing IT (Procurement management)
・Manufacturer of high-performance vessel and pipe:
 a)	Recent technologies for desulfurization vessels
 b)	High performance pipe and its materials

4. Simulation training (Group work): 
・Decision making in a construction project
