Outline of JCCP Regular Course TR-9-20

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: 

・Explain the key components and performance factors of rotary machinery
・Comprehensively understand advanced Japanese inspection methodologies for rotary machinery
・Evaluate the status of rotary machinery using condition monitoring technologies
・Determine the required measures for enhancing the reliability, durability & operating availability of rotary machinery
・Standardize the inspection & maintenance program for rotary machinery

1. Methodologies for the inspection & maintenance of rotary machinery
2. Inspection & maintenance activities for rotary machinery in Japan
3. New design & manufacturing process to enhance the reliability of rotary machinery
4. Modern inspection & condition monitoring technologies for rotary machinery
5. Participant presentations on successful cases they experienced and difficulties to overcome

Middle-rank maintenance or mechanical engineers in charge of    rotary machinery inspection & maintenance, with the following qualifications. 

・Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (preferably mechanical)
・Job experience: Five to ten years’ experience in inspection & maintenance services for rotary machinery at a refinery or chemical plant
