To provide better understanding of newly developed technologies for steam turbines and boiler systems

Participants will acquire practical and integrated knowledge centered on reliability enhancement technologies for major power plant units

1. Latest technologies for steam turbines and boiler systems
2. Activities for reliability enhancement in power generation plants, including water pump systems
3. Practical on-site learning of steam turbines
4. Comprehensive turbine governor technology
5. Latest practices in high-efficiency boiler systems
6. Visits to:
    ・Rotary equipment manufacturers
    ・A steam turbine manufacturer
    ・A major power plant
    ・A boiler manufacturer

Mechanical engineers in charge of steam turbines and/or boiler systems with a university degree and at least five years’ experience, or those with equivalent qualifications
