Main Topics | Participants will discuss petroleum and petrochemical business integration projects as a typical example of generating high added value in the petroleum industry. 1. Project management activities as project owners in refineries 2. Project schedule management 3. Project cost management 4. Project risk management and project contracts 5. Practical exercise “Problems in the project management of your project and countermeasures” 6. Group discussion “The challenge of planning petroleum and petrochemical business integration projects” 7. Visits to: A refinery and plant--to study petroleum business and petrochemical business integration projects in Japan An engineering company--to study EPC project management An engineering company—to study engineering of EPC projects by utilizing IT A high pressure vessel manufacturer--to understand recent technologies for high pressure vessel manufacturing A boiler and turbine manufacturer--to study recent turbine and boiler technologies * EPC: Engineering, Procurement and Construction |
