Aims to provide a wide range of knowledge and skills required of future specialists |
Main Topics | Participants will study practical engineering techniques, from the basics of instrumentation to advanced applications. 1. Fundamental study and practice ・ Outline of recent instrument and control technologies in Japan ・ Process control theories with practice 2. Engineering practice and application experience ・ Instrumentation engineering ・ Field device engineering and maintenance ・ APC development practice and software ・ Other applications 3. Application experience in Japanese companies ・ Refineries of oil companies ・ Factories of instrument and field device companies 4. Visits to: ・ Refineries ・ Instrument factories |
Qualification | Young engineers with a few years of experience in instrument engineering, process control or DCS related technology, or those with equivalent qualifications (Age limit: around 35 years and younger) |
