Outline of JCCP Regular Course TR-16-12

To provide participants with knowledge of material selection, welding problems, material deterioration and their countermeasures for static equipment 

Participants will be introduced to practical examples of Japanese-style countermeasures to material problems.

    1.Fundamentals of welding and material selection

    2.Reliability evaluation of pressure vessels

    3.Trouble experiences with refinery static equipment

    4.Practical repair techniques in the refinery

    5.Case study and discussion

    6.Visits to:

        ･A vessel manufacturer
        ･A plant contractor
        ･A heavy industries company
        ･An engineering company

Mechanical engineers (excluding electricity/instrumentation/ rotary machinery engineers) with a university degree and at least five years’ experience in static equipment maintenance, or those with equivalent qualifications
