Main Topics | Participants will receive practical training to understand the latest control systems, instruments and software by utilizing simulators at JCCP. 1.Fundamental process control theories and practice ・Computer-aided instruction > Process characteristics and PID control ・DCS-controlled miniature plant > Controllability of three operation modes 2.Advanced process control theories and practice using a miniature plant with DCS ・Model Predictive Control (MPC) ・Operation Support System (OSS) 3.Shutdown sequence system theories and engineering practice using a miniature plant with DCS ・Control strategy and controller drawing on DCS ・Safety Instrumented System (SIS) 4.Visits to ・Refineries ・A DCS company |
Qualification | Engineers with a university degree and at least three years’ experience in process control, plant operation or DCS, or those with equivalent qualifications |
