Main Topics | Participants will acquire comprehensive knowledge of HRD in Japan through an understanding of Japanese-style HRM, and will improve their HRD planning and performance capability in a workshop. 1. History of Japan and the Japanese mentality as the basis of Japanese-style HRM and HRD 2. Introduction of Japanese-style HRM and career development/design in Japan 3. Recent changes in HRM brought about by social changes in Japan and the globalization trend ・Japanese society ・Japanese companies and HRM 4. HRD in Japan today 5. Introduction of a training model and case study on HRD 6. Visits to: ・An oil company ・An engineering company ・Refineries ・A university |
