To provide knowledge of the current status of petroleum distribution in Japan, including the status of crude oil stockpiling bases, oil depots and product delivery

Participants will acquire knowledge of the following topics related to oil distribution in Japan, mainly through site visits.

    1.Overview of the petroleum industry in Japan
    2.Overview of petroleum marketing and distribution in Japan
    3.World energy situation
    4.Jet fuel supply to an airplane at the airport
    5.Crude oil stockpiling base
    6.Enhancement of rational thinking process for problem solving and decision making
    7.Visits to:
        ･An oil company
        (stockpiling base, oil depot, oil refinery)
        ･A jet fuel supply company
        ･A steel company (pipeline)
        ･A petrol dispensing pump manufacturer
        ･A procurement management company
        (subsidiary company of an oil company)

Management-level employees in the petroleum distribution sector, or those with equivalent qualifications
