Objective | To provide participants with knowledge of technologies, businesses and leadership for oil companies. Core subjects are construction and upgrading of refineries with a focus on with chemical, heavy oil upgrading and power generation. The course includes leadership programs for next-generation leaders. |
Main Topics | Leadership of oil companies encompasses capability to manage and envision future plans for new refinery and upgrading. New refinery plan aligned with business strategies of the oil industry is ranged from chemical integration, heavy oil upgrading and power generation businesses. Participants will study core technologies and associated business to gain insight for future vision of refineries. 1. Introduction of chemical processes to create high values for refinery 2. Strengthening refinery competitiveness through energy conservation and power facilities, and combination of upgrading processes 3. Planning exercise using linear programming and dynamic simulator practice of FCC for operation management 4. Leadership program for next generation leaders 5. Visits to: ・ Refineries (chemical/upgrading/power generation) ・ Engineering and manufacturing companies |
